Summary/ Description

An industrial visit was held today  in the Mahindra World City focusing on "Career Opportunities and Actual workplace Environment in Corporate world." Today participants learned about how import and export processes works in the industry. We were guided by Deepak Chauhan, CRM of Mahindra World city. He showed us the working in manufacturing unit of Global Surface and Knit pro. The environment there was really good. They made us understand the importance of sustainable development and women workforce ( 80% in Mahindra World city).

Outcome of the workshop/seminar/activity

Participants gained valuable knowledge about import & export procedures and manufacturing units. The attendees learned about how industry affect environment and sustainable development as well.
