TREE PLANTATION

OBJECTIVE:

  • To raise awareness in the society about importance of trees.
  • To prevent soil erosion.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY:

Tree plantation means planting trees and plants. Trees help to combat global warming by absorbing carbon dioxide, removing and storing carbon while releasing oxygen back into the air. By Tree planting activity we will able to contribute to global reforestation efforts and mitigating climate changes.  I have planted Neem tree in the garden by digging hole that are larger than root system and then mixing in compost. Neem trees are known to purify the air and increases soil fertility.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

  • Learned responsibility by caring for the plants.
  • Provides opportunity for environmental education.
