Objective of the activity: To raise awareness about the issue of ragging and promote a safe and respectful campus environment.To engage students creatively, encouraging them to express their commitment to a ragging free university environment through thought-provoking slogans.
Summary: As a part of Anti-Ragging Week, IIS University's Management Department recently held a poster making and display activity and slogan writing competition to raise awareness about the serious issue of ragging in educational institutions, and Many students actively participated, creating and showcasing posters and made slogans that emphasized the importance of preventing ragging and fostering a respectful campus environment. They also highlighted the serious consequences of ragging, including psychological trauma, academic setbacks, and potential legal repercussions, reinforcing the need for a zero-tolerance approach to such behavior.
Outcome of the activity: Through this creative engagement, students gained a deeper understanding of their role in preventing ragging, and displayed collective sense of responsibility and unity against any form of harassment in the university.
