Objective of the activity:                             

  • To display posters at Rambagh Traffic Light Road Crossing and make people aware about Road Safety
  • To give meaningful messages regarding Road Safety to a large no. of people through posters.

Summary/Description: A Road Safety Campaign at Rambagh Traffic Light Crossing, Jaipur was organized by

Dr. Prerana Arora Singh along with the coordination of Dr. Purnima Sharma for the display of posters at traffic light crossing. We went for the campaign after poster making competition. We displayed our posters to public at zebra crossing of the traffic light. People read our posters with great interest and we tried to make them understand the importance of following all the traffic rules through the drawings and slogans on our posters. We got a chance to interact with the Traffic Police Officer at that crossing. He gave us his practical knowledge on Road Safety and Life Safety

Outcome of the activity: Students understood the need of tapping a large number of people to make more and more people aware about Road Safety, practical knowledge from Traffic Police Officer on Road Safety also gained practical experience by doing the field work
