Objective of the activity: To raise awareness about the severe consequences of ragging in educational institutions. By showcasing three short films, including one created by IIS University students.                     

 Summary: As part of Anti-Ragging Week at IIS University, the Department of Management Studies along with the Department of Journalism organized a movie screening to raise awareness about the serious issue of ragging in educational institutions. The event featured three short films, including one produced by our own students, alongside films from another institution. These films effectively highlighted the severe consequences of ragging, demonstrating that it can be a frightening and dangerous experience for some, and even lead to tragic outcomes. The screening served as a powerful reminder of the importance of creating a safe and welcoming environment for all students, reinforcing the message that ragging is not just harmful but entirely unacceptable.

Outcome of the activity: The movie screening successfully raised awareness about the dangers of ragging, leaving participants with a deeper understanding of its severe consequences. It reinforced the importance of fostering a safe and supportive environment for all students, contributing to a stronger commitment to anti-ragging efforts within the university community.
