Investor awareness session- “Know the BSE”

The department of HRM & IB organized an interactive Investor awareness session- “Know the BSE” on 12th Aug, 2013. The speaker was Mr Harbinder Singh Sokhi, Regional Manager, Investor Protection Fund (IPF) Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE),. Mr Sokhi was accompanied by Ms Sudha Mundra, Resident director, PHD Chamber of Commerce & Indutry, Jaipur (Rajasthan). Prof M K Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Commerce & Management, extended floral greetings to the guests. Mr Sokhi explained different investment avenues available for an investor today and emphasized on planning a secure investment. He further explained different aspects of Stock market activities including Do's and Don'ts for the Investors, Trading and Settlement, Risk Management etc. The session was followed by a question- answer session where the students raised their queries and doubts related to investments and BSE. It was a great learning sessions for all those present there.
