On completion of this course, the students will be able to:
CO 1: Understand the basics of Intellectual Property rights and its management. CO 2: Define and explain different types of IPR CO 3: Examine and describe patent claims that legally define a structure or method, and its varied embodiments. CO 4: Explore infringement of the rights of the patent holder by another CO 5: Explore the defenses to an asserted claim of infringement, and remedies when infringement is established. CO 6: Identify the importance of competition act 2002 in IPR. |
