Job changes- Concept, Purpose of Job Change, Transfer-Concept, Objectives of Transfer, Types of Transfer Promotion-Concept, Promotion v/upgradation, Promotion v/s. Transfer, Bases of Promotion Demotion-Concept, Need for Demotion
Conceptual knowledge of Separation, Resignation, Retirement, Layoff, Retrenchment and Dismissal

Meaning, Types, Causes of Indiscipline, Process of Disciplinary Action, Red Hot-stove rule, Grievance redressal procedure.
