To create awareness about the benefits of Yoga among MBA students. It aims to make ancient practice popular among the present generation who are unaware of its benefits.

Summary/Description: |
The Department of Management in collaboration with Department of Physical Education of the IIS (deemed to be UNIVERSITY) organised a session on Yoga and wellness for MBA students. The session started with discussion on importance of yoga in our life and how it embodies unity of mind and body: thought and action; restraint and fulfilment and create harmony between man and nature. Yoga is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature. By changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, it can help in well-being. Students practiced many asanas which one can do sitting on chair, few very important breathing techniques. The students were demonstrated different pranayam and asanas as per the common yoga protocol. During the session the students practice meditation for overall relaxation of mind and body. The session ended with some mantras and om chanting.

Regular yoga sessions benefit MBA students by reducing stress, enhancing concentration, and improving physical well-being. Yoga instils discipline, aiding in time management.
