ORGANIC FARMING

OBJECTIVE:

• To improve soil fertility.
• To produce food or grow plants with higher nutritional quality.
• To provide chemical free healthy food.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY:

Organic farming is an agricultural system that uses fertilizers of organic origin such as compost manure, green manure. To undertake this activity firstly I prepare the soil with green manure prepared from vegetable peels or waste food. Then I planted rose flower plant in a plastic can. Secondly I putted some prepared manure and fertile soil in another can and pour some Fenugreek Seeds in it and water it. Fenugreek seeds are good for lowering blood sugar and boosting testosterone. These seeds will be ready to use as a topping on food after few days.  

LEARNING OUTCOMES:-

• Learn to do farming without pesticides and reduce soil erosion.
• Learn to grow some nutritious food at home.
• Got to know that we can recycle or reuse food waste.
