To orient the students regarding the MBA program, their curriculum, and to provide knowledge to them regarding various departments categorized under MBA program

Summary/Description

The orientation session commenced with an enlightening speech by Director, Prof. Deepika Singh, who addressed the students on the significance of academics and the importance of seizing every possible opportunity to develop and prepare for the corporate world that lies ahead. Following that, Dr. Roopam Kothari, the Head of the Department of Management, provided an overview of the successful history of the University's MBA program. She also highlighted various skill development activities beyond academics that have been undertaken for students in the past, along with how the curriculum is consistently updated to align with recent industry trends.

Subsequently, Dr. Mahima Rai, the Additional Head of the Department of Management, guided the students through the MBA curriculum. She outlined the different courses offered in each department and explained the process of academic evaluation for students. The session was further enriched by a series of engaging fun activities organized by volunteers, aimed at fostering a sense of camaraderie among the new students.

                               The culmination of the session featured Dean, Prof. M.K. Sharma, imparting words of wisdom that enabled students to grasp the course's importance and its real-world implications. activities, each of which carried a hidden moral value

Outcome of the session

The students gained a comprehensive understanding of the essence of the MBA program, as well as the diverse activities available for their participation. These activities offer them a chance to enhance their skills and gain a competitive advantage as they step into the corporate realm.
