Objective of the activity: The YUVA Club orientation for the academic year 2024-25 aimed to introduce new members to the club's activities, objectives, and upcoming events. The primary goal was to inspire students to actively engage in various initiatives led by the YUVA Club, fostering a spirit of innovation, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility
Summary of the activity:
The event began with a warm welcome to the esteemed guests, Dr. Aditya Nath, a renowned resource person, and Mr. Hitesh Jain, the YUVA Chair. They were presented with mementos by Dr. Mahima Rai, Faculty Coordinator of the CII Yi YUVA Club at IIS University, as a token of appreciation for their support and guidance.
Mr Aditya Nath is currently running two ventures viz a viz *Re-Eco* in *Waste Management* and *Nineth Space* in *CoWorking Spaces domain. He is also associated with all Startup Incubation Centres as Mentor and mentoring various startups from Environment domain in leading Startup Incubation Centres of Rajasthan. And, he serves the largest Business networking organisation, BNI as Regional Support Director and in core committee of BNI Jaipur
Dr. Aditya Nath delivered a compelling and interactive talk titled “The Trinity for Impactful life”, focusing on three main aspects crucial for individual growth and development:
Learning: He emphasized the importance of continuous learning and exposure to new experiences. He encouraged students to broaden their horizons and seek knowledge beyond textbooks, recommending resources such as the movie "The Matrix" and the book "The Alchemist" to gain deeper philosophical insights.
Upscaling: Dr. Nath advised the audience to continuously upgrade their skills and knowledge, urging them not to merely chase success but to take calculated risks and strive for self-improvement.
Having a Beginner's Mind: He highlighted the value of maintaining a mindset open to learning, irrespective of one's level of experience. He motivated students to think like entrepreneurs, focusing on self-development and identifying areas for growth.
Overview of YUVA Club Verticals by Mr. Hitesh Jain:
Mr. Hitesh Jain is a second-generation entrepreneur. In 2020, he founded – “Jaipour Coffee”- a premium coffee brand offering the best of Indian coffee from award winning coffee estates to your doorstep. Presently, Mr. Hitesh Jain, is the YUVA Chair. He provided a comprehensive overview of the YUVA Club's various portals and verticals, including:
Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Climate Change, Health Vertical, Farishtay – Road Safety
His briefing aimed to encourage students to actively participate in initiatives that align with their interests and skills, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose within the club.
