In order to strengthen the bond with the alumnae, the department conducted an alumnae interface on 27th January 2018. Three alumnae, Ms. Tanvi Sharma (Batch 2016-17), Ms. Lakshita Goel(Batch 2016-17) and Ms. Shweta Kadel (Batch 2012-13) of the department were invited to share their corporate experiences with the students. They focused their speech on how one should prepare themselves for the corporate world and how to adapt the corporate culture. The first alumae was Ms. Lakshita Goel, who is presently working with a jewellery firm. She elaborated regarding “ADAPTING TO THE CORPORATE CULTURE WITH EASE PROBATION PERIOD”. She focused on various things to keep in mind and to follow while adapting the corporate culture. She also threw light on the problems arises during adaption of the corporate culture. The session was taken over by Ms. Tanvi Sharma, who spoke on the topic “ROAD MAP TO THE CORPORATE WORLD”. In her speech, she elaborated on how one should prepare for the corporate world. She mentioned in her speech that people should be strict to the
deadlines as they will not get the another chance after the deadline is over. She also focused on teamwork and team building. The next alumnae was Ms. Shweta Kadel, who has started her own business of clothing. She focused on people should treat themselves as managers. They should consider themselves as managers and not students. She elaborated that people should roll themselves according to their job. The whole session focused on career opportunities. It was indeed an interactive, inspiring and acknowledging session.
